Marvelous post. I was in a hospital the other day, and beeps went off constantly in the room where we were visiting a family member. When we got out and returned to my father-in-law's home, the silence was the most healing of sounds! This post intrigues me, and I am wondering how chant figures into what you are saying. Thanks for the food for thought.

To get the little widget that lists health blogs, just click on the little tab at the bottom (hanging down below the lower right corner of the widget).

That will take you where you need to go to sign up. It's free, but your blog needs to have at least 12 posts and be at least a month old.

Thanks for this. I know there's a reason why I feel better when I have a guitar or even try one out in a store. The fact that I'm terrible and can only play a few chords seems immaterial to my enjoyment.

By the way, where did you get that health blog "digest" widget on the right side of your page? Looks useful and focused on the topic.

The Tibetan bell stuff are videos I could watch all day. You are on my blogroll until you say you don't want to be.
